Is my vehicle covered while in your care and operation?
At MCCullagh Distribution we’ve got you covered, you can feel safe knowing that we have 4 million bumper to bumper coverage, along with 10 million in liability insurance.
Are your transport drivers qualified to operate my vehicle?
All drivers hold a valid class one commercial driver’s license. You would be happy to know that most of the operators have an incredible amount of incident free miles under their belt.
We are also registered or licensed with every major transport regulatory body within Canada, United States and Mexico.
You have my vehicle, what type of communication will I received during the transportation process?
Communication is our strong point. We provide daily updates, as to the location of each asset.
Can you deliver any overweight, over dimensional vehicles.
Yes, we can do so by obtaining any provincial, or state endorsements to do so. Don’t worry, our team can handle all of the details and make all of the arrangements.
Are you Bonded?
Yes, all loads can be shipped in bond to any water, and or land port of entry.
What if my vehicle is damage
We have excellent coverage for your vehicle. If any incidents should occur while a customers vehicle is in our possession, our insurance will cover all incidentals.

TRANSPORT PRE-TRIP FAQ’S
How can I get my keys to you
Keys can be couriered, or mailed overnight.
How to prepare your vehicle for transport
- Non-runners will not be accepted for shipment.
- Vehicles must be in full operating, road worthy and in safe condition.
- Check to see that your vehicle is in good running order. Tires, battery and a working emergency brake and no fuel/oil leaks are important to ensure smooth handling during shipment.
- Remove all loose items and personal belongings from the vehicle.
- Alarm systems must be disabled prior to shipment.
- Vehicles must have a minimum road clearance of 4 inches to safely load and unload.
- Repair all broken, loose or rusted parts. No aerosols, motor oil, windshield washer fluid, combustibles or spare fluids can be shipped.
- Your gas tank should be one quarter (1/4) to one half (1/2) full. Top up all other fluids.
- During colder months be sure your car is properly winterized.
- Any accessories not permanently mounted to the vehicle should be removed.
- Be certain the jack, wheel-nut key and spare tire are properly stowed.
- A photocopy of the vehicle registration should be placed in the glove box. (Original is not required).
- Please inform us of any security features, starting instructions or details pertinent to the handling of your vehicle.
- Leave a written copy on the front seat of the vehicle and advise our driver.
- Canopies on pickup trucks must be properly bolted to the box of the truck to ensure safe delivery.
- Electric vehicles should be fully charged before being shipped
- Commercial vehicles will need to have, emergency triangles, and a valid, fully operational fire extinguisher.
What can I leave in the vehicle
No personal belongings are permitted for safety reasons but the following items are considered part of the vehicle:
- Children’s car seat when securely affixed.
- Jumper cables and minor tools (factory items, properly stowed)
- Driver Manual
- First-aid and/or emergency supplies kit
- Ice scraper and snow brush
- Spare tire and tire changing tools (properly stowed)
- Car cover, including bra
I purchased a car and don't have the paperwork
Unfortunately we can’t move any vehicle until all paperwork is in order.
Will my vehicle need an inspection
Yes, If your vehicle has a commercial designation it should have a valid CVIP inspection.

Rates are inclusive to cover all cost, what we quote is what you pay.
What does it cost for your service
Rates are formulated with many factors to consider. Distance and vehicle size are a few of the factors. We would be happy to provide a free of charge quote with a no hassle and no commitment to you.
How do I pay for the services
We accept all forms of payment, All major credit cards, E-transfer, direct deposit,cash, along with all cheques.
Do I have to pay upfront for the services
We do ask for a small financial security deposit upon your booking. to secure your booking, balance can be paid on delivery
Do you offer any specials
Our pricing reflects a very competitive rate, we will work with you to get you the lowest pricing possible. In cases where there is multi vehicle moves we can offer additional discounts.
